Glastonbury Tor

Glastonbury is a mythical and spiritual place with the Isle of Avalon (Glastonbury Tor), believed to be the resting place of King Arthur. Glastonbury Tor is quite a sized 'hill', rewarding those that walk/climb it, with amazingly stunning views of the Somerset Levels. Surprisingly, its construction is more down to nature than man, with the terraced steps adding quite the conundrum, giving more substance to the Arthurian legend. Whilst St Michael's Open Top Tower, is all that is left of the ruins of the church, once located at the summit.
